This bright, refreshing, and flavor-packed bruchetta is sure to amaze not only you but anyone you serve it to. This dish is a really quick and simple appetizer that tastes just amazing. Not sure? then just try it for yourself!

I learned everything about this recipe from my mom, the mastermind behind a lot of my development as a chef. This dish is not only an example of how her ideas are delicious, but also how she gave me insight into the techniques she uses to make her food so incredible.

Ingredients

  • Baguette slices
  • Tomato, diced
  • Basil cut in chiffonade
  • Mozzarella cheese (preferably cut in cubes)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • Balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • Olive Oil
  • Halved clove of garlic

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°F. then, drizzle all of the slices of bread on both sides with olive oil and bake until they’re golden brown and crispy (around 10 min).

2While getting the bread ready, add the tomato, basil, and mozzarella into a bowl and mix together. Then add salt and pepper to taste, and optionally add a splash of balsamic vinegar.

3

Once the bread is out of the oven, use the halved clove of garlic to flavor the bread by just rubbing the top side of the slices down with the garlic

4Now, just top the slices with your topping and viola! You’ve just made the perfect appetizer for any setting in a blink of an eye!
