This sandwich takes all of the classic elements of a good breakfast and combines them into an amazing sandwich. It’s filled with protein and also has the carbs to give you that much-needed energy throughout the day.

This dish is packed with flavor and if you pair it with some fresh fruit or maybe yogurt, you’ll have a perfect breakfast in no time. You can also cook the eggs to whatever you prefer (whether it’s over-easy, sunny side up, etc.) but it’ll turn out great no matter what.

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 slice of pepper jack cheese
  • Bagel (I prefer either jalapeño or everything bagels)
  • Turkey Sausage Links
  • Special Sauce (mix of 3 parts mayo, 1 part of ketchup, sriracha, and mustard)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Directions

1First, heat a nonstick pan and add a bit of butter. Toast the two slices of the bagels and press it down if you prefer thinner slices on your sandwich.

 

2Next, chop up the breakfast sausage into pieces, and with a bit of butter, crisp them up. Save any grease/butter in the pan for the eggs.

 

3Crack the 2 eggs into the pan and season with salt and pepper. once most of the whites are fully cooked add the slice of cheese and cover the pan. Once the cheese melts, add some sauce to both slices of bagel and assemble the sandwich in any way you prefer. Enjoy!
