These Baked Chicken Wings are crispy, juicy and also healthy! The Asian sauce packs a kick and also has the sweet and sour Asian flavors we’ve all come to love.
I’ve always loved chicken wings. I remember going down to my local wings restaurant and getting a whole menu of different sauces. I always seem to gravitate towards the Asian sauces though… especially the spicy ones.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1/3 cup schezwan sauce
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon siracha
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- Grated Ginger
Directions
1Preheat your oven to 400 F. Separate the wings into the flats and drumettes. Add them to a wire rack on a sheet pan. Add a liberal amount of salt and pepper to all sides of the wings.
2Then put them into the oven until fully cooked through (35-40 minutes), and flip halfway throughout.
3Meanwhile, add all the ingredients for the sauce to a pan and simmer until thickened to ideal consistency. You can adjust spice and/or sweetness with siracha and brown sugar (respectively).
4Then, once the wings are cooked through, broil them until crispy (5-10) minutes).
5Finally, add the wings to the sauce while still hot and mix until all the wings are coated. Enjoy these amazing wings!
