These chickpeas are the perfect crunchy, protein-packed alternatives to other foods like popcorn or chips. They can be made to taste like anything you want, whether it be spicy, sweet, or salty.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cans Chickpeas
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne Powder
  • Freshly Ground Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 400 F. Drain the chickpeas in a colander to remove as much liquid as possible. Then, pat any excess moisture off with a paper towel (the drier they are, the crunchier they’ll become).

2After that, put them in a baking sheet where you’ll add the oil and as much of all the seasonings as you prefer.

 

3Give it all a mix, making sure that you have only one layer of chickpeas and then add it into the oven until they’re golden brown and crunchy (50-60 minutes).

4Finally, let the chickpeas cool and then you can dig into this high protein snack!
